IVECO Daily – Technical Data & Specifications
The IVECO Daily is a light commercial vehicle platform spanning five generations from 1978 to the present, engineered primarily as a van and pickup workhorse for European and global markets. IVECO built the Daily around diesel powertrains from the outset, with a brief petrol offering in the first generation, and has continuously expanded the body-type range to include short and long van configurations, double-cab pickups, and minibus variants. The Automobilisto database documents 67 variants across all generations, with power outputs ranging from 72 PS in early models to 177 PS in contemporary diesel units.

The second restyling (2011–present) introduced minibus configurations alongside 18 documented variants, maintaining the 90–177 PS diesel range and incorporating Euro 5/6 compliance across the platform.
The 2006 restyling expanded the lineup to 16 variants with the addition of the pickup double-cab body type, while diesel outputs reached 90–177 PS, reflecting demand for higher payload and towing capacity.
The second generation (1999–2006) marked a platform overhaul with 12 variants, diesel power climbing to 95–166 PS, and updated chassis engineering to meet Euro 3 and Euro 4 emissions standards.
The 1990 restyling brought nine diesel-only variants with power increased to 82–122 PS, refining the van architecture while maintaining the short, standard, and long wheelbase configurations through 1999.
The first generation (1978–1990) introduced the Daily as a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive commercial platform with 12 documented variants, offering both diesel and petrol engines producing 72–95 PS across van body types.
