Toyota Vitz – Technical Specifications & All Generations
Toyota's Vitz nameplate served domestic Japanese and select export markets from 1999 to 2020 as a B-segment mini offering three-door and five-door body configurations. The model occupied the same platform lineage as the internationally marketed Yaris, sharing underpinnings while carrying distinct regional branding. Toyota built four distinct iterations across 21 production years, with the Automobilisto database documenting 45 catalogued variants spanning diesel and petrol powertrains.

A 2014 mid-cycle refresh extended XP130 production through 2020, documenting five variants with unchanged 69–109 PS specifications. This restyling phase represented the Vitz nameplate's final iteration before regional consolidation under alternative branding strategies.
The 2010 XP130 platform introduced refined engineering with six variants retaining five-door exclusivity. Power outputs held steady at 69–109 PS across petrol-only offerings, marking a four-year pre-facelift cycle that concluded in 2014.
Second-generation XP90 architecture arrived in 2005, standardizing on five-door bodywork exclusively. The five catalogued variants maintained the 71–110 PS output band, with Toyota discontinuing diesel availability and committing solely to petrol powertrains through 2010.
The inaugural XP10 generation launched in 1999 with both three-door and five-door configurations, offering 29 documented variants. Powertrain range spanned 68 to 110 PS, uniquely including diesel options alongside petrol engines during this six-year production window through 2005.
